Articles of Interest (Jan. 8, 2017)

Earlier tonight, I participated as I usually do on Sunday night, the #scachat where I engage with athletic administrators in a weekly Twitter conversation about small college athletics.
If you need more information about the chat, send me an email and I would like to have you and your input be a part of it.

I explained that my 2017 resolution is that "I want to be a better steward of resources, both personally and professionally, to enable others to achieve their dreams."
That resolution is why I have this blog and it is dedicated to help people regardless of where you are at in your professional journey.

Article of Interest and Job Leads (Jan. 4, 2017)

Photo of Anthony Robles, via Twitter
There are a lot of great athletes that I have came across in my career, either as a fan or as a Sports Information Director. One of my favorite athletes that I have became a fan of is Anthony Robles. Yes, he frustrated me when he won the 2011 NCAA Division I wrestling championship at 125 lbs. over Matt McDonough of Iowa. But, it was his story that won me over on that night and since then, I have been a fan of him. I recently came across this article about his visit to Lancaster, Pennsylvania and feel that he epitomizes what it means to be SET - strategic; engaged; teamwork.
